About Rinda

Born in Bangkok, Thailand, Rinda lived, for her first fourteen years, in a small village, Chiang Kham, in northern Thailand near the Laotian border and was homeschooled until her second year of high school.

She is the daughter of missionary parents who helped to start and to support a special village for lepers. Her maternal grandmother is from the Chickasaw tribe.

Despite a severe math dyslexia (which actually helps rather than hinders her in the use of her proofing, editing, and transcription skills), Rinda entered college at seventeen and survived. She enjoys not editing her blog because she must edit so perfectly in her own transcription service.
